Learning outcomes: • Knowledge of methods and tools for diagnosing electrical and electronic systems of cars. • Ability to diagnose the main systems of ATC electrical equipment. • Ability to identify faults in electronic and electrical systems of cars, analyze the causes of their occurrence and develop recommendations for their elimination. • Knowledge of car structure, power units, electronic and electrical equipment. • Knowledge of modern achievements and innovative technologies in the field of transport. • Have the basics of car production and repair technology. • Be able to analyze diagnostic and other information about the technical condition of the car. • Be able to diagnose, analyze and evaluate the technical condition of mechatronic systems of the car. • Be able to use modern diagnostic equipment to obtain reliable information about the technical condition of vehicle units and control systems. • Ability to communicate, including oral and written communication in Ukrainian and foreign languages ??(English, German, Italian, French, Spanish. • Ability to use a variety of methods, including modern information technology, to communicate effectively at the professional and social levels. • Ability to be responsible in the work performed, to make decisions independently, to achieve the goal in compliance with the requirements of professional ethics.
Required prior and related subjects: Physics. Repair of electronic and electrical equipment of cars. General chemistry. Basics of computer diagnostics of cars. Electronics and microprocessor technology. Car system sensors. Electronic and electrical equipment of cars.
Summary of the subject: Diagnosis of electrical and electronic vehicle systems: power supply, ignition, trigger, lighting, light and sound alarm, information, and diagnosis, management.
Assessment methods and criteria: • current control (40%): written reports on laboratory work (30%), written reports on practical work (10%). • final control (60%, exam): testing (50%), oral component (10%).
