Learning outcomes: – knowledge of modern achievements and innovative technologies in the field of transport; – knowledge of the basics of computer diagnostics of mechatronic systems of the car; – have modern methods and hardware for diagnosing mechatronic systems of the car; – be able to apply the acquired knowledge and understanding to identify, formulate and solve problems of road transport; – be able to analyze diagnostic and other information about the technical condition of the car; – be able to identify faults of mechatronic systems of the car, to develop algorithms for their elimination, to decipher error codes and to establish the reasons of their occurrence; – ability to communicate, including oral and written communication in Ukrainian and English; – ability to use various methods, in particular modern information technologies for effective communication at the professional and social levels; – ability to realize the need for lifelong learning in order to deepen the acquired and acquire new professional knowledge. modules and control systems; – be able to analyze the work of mechatronic modules and systems of the car; operation and maintenance of mechatronic vehicle systems.

Summary of the subject: Principles and current trends in mechatronic systems. Sensors and hardware components of mechatronic systems in motor vehicles. Sensor Signal Processing. Multiplexers and demultiplexers. Filter unifying converters. Devices collect measurement data and analog-to-digital signal conversion. Reconciliation of measuring devices with electronic control units of cars. Software algorithms and control programs. Mechatronic systems, engine management. Mechatronic transmission control system. Mechatronic control systems of the car chassis.Mechatronic control systems equipment cabin. Mechatronic systems of hybrids and electric cars.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control (30%), oral examination, defense settlement and graphic works of practical tasks; Control examination (70%) 60% - test component and 10% - oral component
