Learning outcomes: 1. Basic knowledge of the basics of transport and forwarding work. 2. Knowledge of the basics of classification of flows and stocks and the basics of inventory management theory. 3. Basic knowledge of logistics operations and functions. 4. Knowledge of basic logistics concepts and systems. 5. Basic knowledge of transport logistics. 6. Knowledge of the basics of optimization of cargo flows and the organization of loading and unloading operations. 7. Basic knowledge of the operational properties of vehicles and the task of their choice. 8. Basic knowledge of the structure of road transport enterprises, the basics of freight forwarding, theory and safety of car traffic. 9. Knowledge of the basics of technical operation and maintenance of cars. 10. Knowledge of the basics of economics and management of road transport enterprises. 11. Basic knowledge of logistics and organization of road transport.

Summary of the subject: Theoretical bases and practical recommendations on management of material and accompanying flows with use of logistic approaches in the field of motor transport are stated. The conceptual apparatus of logistics is given, objects of logistic management, operations and functions of logistics are described. The logistics mission and the place of logistics management at the enterprise are considered. Attention is paid to logistics systems and their elements. The methodology of logistics is analyzed, modern logistics systems and concepts are described. The tasks of transport logistics, as well as the issues of Ukraine's integration into the world and European transport and logistics systems, service of enterprises and consumers by road are considered. The student acquires theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in road transport networks, optimization of cargo flows, organization of loading and unloading operations, methods of cargo delivery and organization of cargo ATZ, formation of structure and rational use of ATZ fleet, passenger flows and methods of their study. passenger traffic.
Assessment methods and criteria: • written reports from workshops, reference work (30%) • final control (control measure, exam): written form (60%), oral component (10%)
