Learning outcomes: PH1. Find the necessary information in the scientific and technical literature, databases and other sources, analyze and evaluate this information; PH2. Analyze the information obtained as a result of research, summarize, systematize and use it in professional activities; PH3. Analyze and evaluate road transport facilities, their systems and elements; PH4. Analyze the information obtained as a result of computer diagnostics of mechatronic systems of the car, generalize, systematize and use it in professional activities; PH5. To give answers, to explain, to understand explanations, to discuss, to report in the state language at a level sufficient for professional activity; PH6. Ability to adapt to new situations and make appropriate decisions; PH7. Ability to realize the need for lifelong learning in order to deepen the acquired and acquire new professional knowledge.

Summary of the subject: Fundamentals of the theory of safety of technical objects. Initial provisions for the development of a system security concept. General approach to the classification of protected objects. Information collection, processing and display systems. Radio wave and radio means of detection. Calculation of radio wave detection means. Optical detection means. Seismic burglar alarms. Magnetometric detection means. Fundamentals of the theory of development of magnetometric means of detection. Combined detection tools. Use of technical means of video surveillance. Access control systems and means. Satellite security systems. Intelligent access systems. Information support and car control systems in the traffic flow.
Assessment methods and criteria: Assessment of students' knowledge in the discipline is conducted in accordance with the working curriculum in the form of current and checking control.
