Learning outcomes: 1. Know the means and methods for carrying out diagnostic and repair work in cars with a hybrid power plant. 2. Know the structure and basic principles of operation of traction batteries of cars with a hybrid power plant and electric cars. 3. To be able to analyze the systems of cars with hybrid power plants and their characteristic modes of operation. 4. To be able to synthesize the control system of the power plant of a hybrid car as a control object. 5. To know the structure and basic principles of operation of cars on fuel cells. 6. Know and analyze alternative sources of energy for cars. 7. Know safety techniques when working with high voltage.

Summary of the subject: While studying this educational discipline, the student studies the basic concepts of creating environmentally friendly motor vehicles, as well as the main structural elements of hybrid and electric vehicles. Acquires theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in determining the characteristics of hybrid and electric car drives. Learn to analyze and synthesize the structural principles of power plant construction and choose the optimal one depending on the operating conditions of the car.
Assessment methods and criteria: Control measures conducted at the university determine the compliance of the level of knowledge, skills and abilities acquired by students with the requirements of normative documents on higher education and ensure timely adjustment of the educational process. To assess the level of achievement of learning outcomes in the discipline "Hybrid and electric drives of cars", the following types of control are used: current and final. Current control is carried out at all types of classroom classes (lectures, practical, laboratory classes) in order to check the level of students' training on a specific topic (learning element). The main purpose of current control is to provide feedback between teachers and students, to manage students' educational motivation. The information obtained during the current control is used both by the teacher to adjust teaching methods and tools, and by students to plan independent work. Current control is carried out in the form of an oral survey, testing, defense of laboratory reports, student presentations when discussing theoretical issues, etc. The results of the current control are important information for determining the final grade in the discipline during the semester control. The final control ensures the assessment of student learning results during the semester control, which is conducted in accordance with the curriculum in the form of a semester exam in the terms established by the schedule of the educational process and in the amount of educational material determined by the work program of the discipline. The form of the semester control is a written component (testing) and an oral component. The content and structure of examination tickets (control tasks), evaluation criteria are determined by the decision of the Department of Motor Transport and are indicated in the work program of the academic discipline and are brought to the attention of students at the first lesson.
