Learning outcomes: PH1. Knowledge of car structure, power units, electronic and electrical equipment; PH2. Be able to apply the acquired knowledge and understanding to identify, formulate and solve problems of road transport; PH3. Ability to communicate, including oral and written communication in Ukrainian and foreign languages; PH4. Ability to use a variety of methods, including modern information technology for effective communication at the professional and social levels; PH5. Ability to realize the need for lifelong learning in order to deepen the acquired and acquire new professional knowledge.

Summary of the subject: The discipline considers the basic principles of design, operation and operation of automatic devices of car systems. The basic concepts and classification of automatic control systems are given. Description of functional elements and automatic control systems. The concept of stability of linear elements of automatic control systems, criteria of stability and quality of work of automatic control systems are considered. At the present stage of development, the car is a complex technical system characterized by a variety of technical means and elements of the system. In particular, these are devices for setting, comparing and displaying information. Amplifiers. Elements and devices of discrete action. Executive elements of automation systems. Automation is developing both through modernization and by designing new automatic equipment and automatic circuits. In order to facilitate the design of new and improve existing elements, virtual laboratories are now being actively implemented around the world. The discipline involves the study and conduct of part of the laboratory course in the electronic laboratory "Electronics workbench" for research and modeling of automatic devices.
Assessment methods and criteria: •current control (40%): - written reports on laboratory work (30%); - written reports on practical work (10%). •the final test (60%, exam): - tests (50%); - oral component (10%).
