Summary of the subject: Foreign economic activity and its role in the development of the national economy. The main directions and indicators of foreign economic activity in Ukraine. The current state of result of foreign economic activity in Ukraine. Peculiarities of foreign economic activity of enterprises in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and in times of war. The system of regulation of foreign economic activity in Ukraine. The export strategy of the enterprise. Prerequisites for a successful search for foreign counterparties. Structure and content of foreign economic contracts. Basic terms of delivery and international rules for interpreting commercial terms Incoterms 2020. International settlements in foreign economic activity. Customs and tariff and non-tariff regulation of foreign economic activity. Trade and intermediary activities in the foreign market. Economic analysis of the foreign economic activity of the enterprise. Organizational and information support of the foreign economic activity. Export brand of Ukraine.
Assessment methods and criteria: - Laboratory works: in the course of the study discipline, students are expected to perform and defend consecutively: a) 6 laboratory works (full-time study), each of which is assessed a maximum of 5 points; b) 3 laboratory works (distance learning), each assessed with a maximum of 4 points. The assessment criteria for each laboratory work are: the adequacy and logic of the chosen methodology of laboratory work, the reliability of the results obtained, the quality of the work design and the content and an exhaustive answer to the questions posed during its defence, as well as the timely delivery of the laboratory work; - practical classes: during the study discipline, there is a provision for full-time students to prepare and defend reports (in the form of presentations) in the context of each of the eight topics of practical classes. The first six reports are evaluated with 1 point each and the last two with 2 points each. During the study of the discipline, students of the extramural form of training are questioned in the context of their assimilation of theoretical issues specified in the work program topics of the field, as well as solving applied problems and situational exercises. Work on the first two practical lessons is assessed with a maximum of 3 points and on the last - 2 points. - examination control: the results of the study discipline provide for examination control, covering written and oral components. The written part consists of 20 tests (each test is maxing 1 point), four theoretical questions (each hypothetical question is max 5 points), and situational tasks (max five issues). The oral component involves the student's answers to the three questions posed (each question posed is worth a maximum of 5 points).
