Ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge and understanding of the processes of international cooperation and business, integration and globalization, factors and parameters of the modern international economic environment, management systems of international economic and customs activities. PLO 26. Ability to research foreign markets, to form technologies of international economic operations, conclude and execute agreements with foreign counterparties, to develop international projects. PLO 27. Ability to substantiate, diagnose and implement various types of international economic activity, ensure customs clearance, and declaration of goods.

Summary of the subject: 1. Preparation of FTO. Research of the external market (this stage is considered in the discipline "Marketing" and therefore is not performed in this CP). Search, selection and establishment of contact with a foreign partner. Elaboration of basic and currency and financial terms of the contract. Analysis and development of competitive materials, drafting a competitive letter, calculation of export/import prices. Preparation of the draft contract. 2. Conclusion of FTC (foreign trade contract). Conducting preliminary negotiations. Drawing up a letter of intent and a preliminary contract. Drafting and signing of FTC. 3. Organization of control and execution of foreign trade contract. Fulfillment of contractual obligations: supply of goods, provision of services, technical and warranty service of products, settlement and payment operations. Control over the fulfillment of contractual obligations. Consideration of possible claims and complaints from exports and submission of such from imports.
Assessment methods and criteria: Points for the course project are awarded on the basis of the public defense of the work. Enrollment of learning program results obtained in non-formal and informal education and re-enrollment of learning program results obtained in other educational institutions as a result of academic mobility takes place in accordance with the educational and professional training program for the relevant specialty and internal standards for ensuring the quality of educational activities and higher education (Regulations on the academic mobility of students, graduate students, doctoral students, scientific-pedagogical and scientific workers at the National University "Lviv Polytechnic", Procedure for re-enrollment (enrollment) of academic disciplines or other components of the curriculum at the National University "Lviv Polytechnic"). • The grade "excellent" (88-100 points) corresponds to a comprehensive systematic and deep knowledge of the program material; assimilation of information from the lecture course, basic and additional literature; clear mastery of the conceptual apparatus, methods and tools provided by the program; the ability to use them correctly to solve both typical and atypical problem situations; • The grade "good" (71-87 points) corresponds to the knowledge of the main program material; assimilation of information from the lecture course; possession of the basic conceptual apparatus, methods and tools provided by the program; the ability to use them without error to solve typical situations, making individual mistakes; • The rating "satisfactory" (50-70 points) corresponds to ignorance of the basic program material; mastery of certain concepts, methods and tools, making significant mistakes when using them; • The rating "unsatisfactory" (0-49 points) assumes that the student does not understand the essence of the questions and does not know the basic concepts of the course.

Summary of the subject: International commercial transactions and agreements. Standard contracts in international trade. Types of international sales contracts. International exhibitions and fairs. Content of international sales contracts. The procedure and technique of preparing an international trade agreement with direct contacts with counterparties. Execution of international sales contracts. Termination of FTC. Commercial activity on the world market, which is carried out through the trade and intermediary link. International exchange of technology on a commercial and non-commercial basis. International engineering. International rental operations. International operations with insurance. International tourism. International transport operations.
Assessment methods and criteria: 1. For full-time students: - current control - 40 points (4 laboratory works, each of which is assessed with a maximum of 5 points; performance of tasks in practical classes - 20 points); - examination control - 60 points (written component - 45 points, oral component - 15 points). 2. For correspondence students: - current control - 40 points (2 laboratory works, each of which is assessed with a maximum of 10 points; performance of tasks in practical classes – 10 points; performance of control works - 10 points); - examination control - 60 points (written component - 45 points, oral component - 15 points).
