Learning outcomes: - to know the principles and sequence of construction of logistic systems; - to know the model of the decision making process in the logistics system and the structural-logical scheme and algorithm for forecasting its efficiency; - to know the sources of logistics costs in international logistics; - to know the basic approaches to implementation of automation of processes in logistics hubs; - to know the methods of optimization of material, financial, information flows; - to be able to create effective logistics chains; - to be able to identify and optimize logistics costs; - to be able to assess the economic efficiency of decision making in logistics systems.
Required prior and related subjects: - Foreign economic activity of the enterprise, - Logistics, - Technology of foreign economic operations, - International Business.
Summary of the subject: Logistic systems: methodological foundations for their research and design. Conceptual foundations of international logistics and its historical aspect. Geospatial, geoinformation, financial, customs, ecological, legal aspects of international logistics. World market for logistics services. Eurologistics: Directions of Development in the 21st Century. Ukraine in the system of the Baltic-Black Sea transport-logistic integration. Development of logistics in Germany, France, the Netherlands and Finland. Turbo logistics: US experience. Logistics development in Asian countries. Japanese experience in manufacturing logistics and its international significance. Logistics hubs: purpose, content, tasks and significance in global logistics.
Assessment methods and criteria: - performance of tasks at practical and laboratory classes - oral and written form, - exam - written form.
