Learning outcomes: 1. Demonstrate knowledge of theories, methods, and functions of management, modern concepts of leadership. 2. Demonstrate skills to identify problems and justify management decisions. 3. Apply management methods to ensure the effectiveness of the organization’s activity. 4. Demonstrate skills of situation analysis and communication in various areas of the organization. 5. Assess the legal, social, and economic consequences of the organization. 6. Demonstrate the ability to act socially responsibly and socially consciously based on ethical considerations (motives), respect for diversity, and interculturalism. 7. Ability to demonstrate basic knowledge in the field of strategic, operational, innovation, anticrisis, financial, investment, anticipatory, creative management of organizations and their departments. 8. Ability to plan various activities, build organizational structures for the management of organizations and departments, use effective systems of employee motivation and remuneration, ensure effective quality control and management processes regulation. 9. Ability to form the communicative strategy effectively. 10. Management of complex actions or projects, responsibility for taking decisions in unexpected situations.

Summary of the subject: Basic principles of strategic management theory. Levels of strategic decisions and typology of enterprise strategies. Strategic planning. Formation of vision, mission and goals of the enterprise. Strategic analysis of the internal environment of the enterprise. Strategic analysis of the external environment of the enterprise. Strategic analysis of competitiveness in the industry. Formation of sustainable competitive advantages of the enterprise. Levels of strategies. Competitive strategies. Corporate strategies. Portfolio analysis in strategic management. Strategy implementation and strategic control at the enterprise.
Assessment methods and criteria: Maximum score (100 points): current control (30 points); examination control (70 points).

Ability to demonstrate basic knowledge in the field of strategic, operational, innovation, anticrisis, financial, investment, anticipatory, creative management of organizations and their departments. 7. Ability to plan various activities, build organizational structures for the management of organizations and departments, use effective systems of employee motivation and remuneration, ensure effective quality control and management processes regulation. 8. Deliver information, ideas, problems, solutions, and personal experience in the area of professional activity to experts and non-experts. 9. Management of complex actions or projects, responsibility for taking decisions in unexpected situations.

Summary of the subject: Overview of economic activities of organization. Analysis of macro- and meso- environment of organization. Analysis of the internal environment of the organization. Analysis of competitive forces. The choice of strategic alternatives of the organization. Choice and justification of organization development strategy. The implementation of the chosen strategy of organization.
Assessment methods and criteria: report on the results of the course work, final control (level of task completion - 70% , presentation - 10%, defend-20%).
