Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the academic discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following program learning outcomes: PLO4. Demonstrate the skills of searching, collecting and analyzing information, calculating indicators to substantiate management decisions. PLO23. Knowledge of logistics management: mastery of modern methods of managing the material flow system, methodological techniques in determining the efficiency of logistics using modern IT technologies, methods of increasing the competitiveness of enterprises due to logistics competencies.
Required prior and related subjects: - prerequisites: Transport logistics (CW), Warehouse logistics. - co-requisites: Economics of logistics (CP).
Summary of the subject: Analysis materialogy in the warehouse, calculation of the total material flow and cost of cargo handling. Principles of design of composition, selection of the storage room. Requirements for planning storage space. The design of main storage areas. The choice of warehouse equipment. The organizational structures of warehouse management. The definition of the principles of the organization of storage of goods in the warehouse. The choice of system of cargo handling: mechanized, napivaetsya, computerized. The choice of it technology for the inventory maintenance and inventory of products in stock. Calculation of technological indicators of work of a warehouse and the coefficient of uniformity of loading of the warehouse. Determining the need for racking equipment. The calculation of the storage capacity and the required amount of storage equipment. Determination of the level of warehouse service. Calculation of indicators of use of warehouse space. The determination of the total useful area of the warehouse, the calculation of the utilization ratio of the storage capacity, storage costs and cost of production. Development of recommendations to minimize the costs of warehouse.
