Завдання: The study of the academic discipline involves the formation of students' professional competence of a professional direction: the ability to identify, social inspect and assess the needs of vulnerable categories of citizens, including those who find themselves in difficult life circumstances.
Learning outcomes: Learning outcomes in accordance with the educational program: Develop prospective and current plans, programs
conducting measures, promptly taking effective
decisions in difficult situations; Establish and maintain relationships with clients on the basis of mutual trust and in accordance with ethical principles and standards of social work, provide them with psychological support and harass clients; Design the process and result of social work within the limits of the tasks, use quantitative and qualitative indicators, adjust the work plan in accordance with the assessment results.
Required prior and related subjects: Interpersonal communication. Social work with groups. Normative provision of social work. Methodology and research methods of social problems. Social work with persons with disabilities. Introductory practice. Social work with children and families, and problems of domestic violence.
Summary of the subject: The discipline "Consulting in social work" involves consideration of topics related to actual aspects of the practical application of consulting technologies with various categories of clients and groups in social institutions.
The study of the discipline involves the student's work in lectures and practical classes, as well as independent work in working out the topics of the specified discipline and studying scientific literature; performance of an individual research task and passing an exam. Presentation of theoretical provisions and implementation of practical tasks is accompanied by close cooperation between the teacher and students, which significantly increases the level of efficiency of knowledge acquisition.
Опис: Counseling as a type of assistance in social work. Types, principles and stages of counseling. Counseling as a process. Methodical tools of the consultant. Basic counseling skills. First psychological aid as a type of counseling. Client consulting techniques. Legal provision of counseling services in social work. Organization and conduct of group work, group dynamics. Applied technologies of counseling in social work. Counseling in the process of social and psychological support for children and families who have had a traumatic experience. Telephone counseling as a type of socio-psychological counseling. Requirements for the personality of the consultant. Counseling people living with HIV/AIDS. Counseling of women affected by domestic violence. Stages and structure of the consultative process. Errors in the process of consultative interaction. Prevention of professional burnout of a consultant.
Assessment methods and criteria: 1.Evaluation of students in the discipline " Consulting in social work " is carried out with the help of means of objective control of the degree of achievement of learning results. 2. Evaluation is carried out on the basis of the assessment of the level of the achieved program results of the bachelor's education program " Social Work", using the methods of complex diagnostics: the semester control of the knowledge of the students is carried out based on the total number of points obtained according to the results of the current control and the implementation of the control measure. 3. The information base, on the basis of which the means of objective control of the degree of achievement of learning results are formed, is its subject matter, tasks for practical and individual works, a list of literature and methodical recommendations. 4. Assessment of the level of achievement of learning outcomes is carried out after the education seekers complete the work program in its entirety.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Current control: performance of obligatory current practical tasks, oral survey, control works, individual research task - 40 points. Final control (exam) - 60 points.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
