Summary of the subject: The study of the discipline will help reveal the essence of military and social work in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which involves the implementation of socio-legal, informational and organizational measures to assist servicemen, employees of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and their families in the implementation of the rights and benefits established by the laws of Ukraine and other legislative acts. their receipt of social assistance and appropriate compensation, creation of social conditions and guarantees. Such work is carried out with citizens at the stage of their enlistment in the armed forces, military personnel during their service, military personnel in reserve or in retirement, and members of their families. Technologies of social work with servicemen and their families differ depending on the nature and depth of their social problems. The main procedures of the technology of modern social work with military personnel are: social prevention, social rehabilitation and social support. Forms and methods of social work are chosen taking into account areas of work, categories and needs. The organization of social work with military personnel is regulated by: legislative acts, decrees and orders of the President, resolutions of the Government, orders and directives of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine.
Military social work is a set of measures aimed at providing social support to servicemen and their families, as well as improving their quality of life. It includes the following areas of work: informational social and legal support, psychological support and medical care and rehabilitation.
Опис: The essence of military social work in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Socio-legal, informational, organizational measures to assist servicemen, employees of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and members of their families in the implementation of the laws of Ukraine. Legislative acts and legal regulation of social assistance and social protection and social security of military personnel, veterans, and their family members. Stages of organization and implementation of military and social work in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The main problems solved by military social work: social security, social protection, social adaptation, socio-legal work, socio-professional adaptation, organization and implementation of programs. Methods of activity of a social worker for the implementation of the goals and tasks of military social work with various categories of clients: with pre-conscript youth, military personnel, reservists, with veterans and participants in hostilities, with pensioners and persons with disabilities from among military personnel, with families of military personnel. Peculiarities of the work of a social worker in the Territorial Center for recruitment and social support, in a military unit, in military medical institutions and hospitals. Social support of servicemen, veterans and their family members. Study of the needs of military personnel, veterans and their family members. Organization of the work of a multidisciplinary team of specialists to comprehensively solve the problems of servicemen, veterans and their family members. The participation of social workers in the formation of policies regarding the prevention and resolution of social problems of military personnel, veterans and their family members

Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Attestation of students of education in the discipline is carried out with the help of means of objective control of the degree of achievement of the final goals.
1. Attestation is carried out on the basis of an assessment of the level of competences achieved and the results of a bachelor’s study in the specialty "Social Security", using the methods of complex diagnostics: semester assessment (SO) of students’ knowledge is carried out based on the total number of points obtained according to the results of current control (PC), and implementation control measure (KZ).
2. The information base, on the basis of which the means of objective control of the degree of achievement of the ultimate goals of mastering the discipline are formed, is its subject matter, tasks for practical and independent works, a list of literature and methodical recommendations.
3. Attestation of the quality of mastering the discipline is carried out after the students complete the work program in its entirety.
• Current control (PC) - 40 points:
PrZ – evaluations of speeches and answers at seminar classes -10 points);
PDZ - assessment for the completion of mandatory current homework - 10 points;
INDZ - evaluation for the performance of an individual research task - 20 points.
• Examination control (EC) – 60 points.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
