Summary of the subject: General description and classification of rolling stock of electric transport. Features of power supply of electric transport. Theoretical bases of motion of transport vehicle. Forces that operate on a transport vehicle. Calculation of power of hauling engines. Realization of tractive and braking forces. Divisibility and firmness of motion of transport vehicle. Forming of hauling electro mechanics characteristics with the engines of direct-current. Forming of hauling mechanics characteristics with the engines of alternating current
Assessment methods and criteria: • written reports on laboratory works, oral questioning (20%) • final control (control measure - exam): written and oral form (80%)
