Learning outcomes: • know the means and methods of standardization in the technical objects, quantitative reliability characteristics and methods of static determining; • know the main areas to ensure high reliability electromechanical devices, diagnostic methods and testing the reliability of electromechanotronic converter elements; • be able to differentiate and identify of refusals distribution laws according to diagnosis, maintenance and testing of electromechanotronic converters; • be able to calculate the reliability of electromechanotronic converter’ basic elements by computer means.

Summary of the subject: The problem of reliability electromechanotronic devices. The main issues of reliability theory of electromechanotronic converters. Standardization in the diagnosis and reliability of technical objects. Basic concepts and definitions of reliability theory. Quantitative characteristics of reliability electromechanotronic objects. Failure distribution laws of electromechanotronic systems. Partition curve of operating time to failure. Basic laws of distribution. Reliability calculation of various electromechanotronic systems in resume meaning. Diagnostic methods of availability and forecast of electromechanotronic devices operating. Algorithmic approach to reliability calculating of electromechanotronic systems elements on design stage. Failures characteristics Structural reliability assemblies. Approaches to creating reliable models of different types of electromechanotronic converter elements. Modern diagnostics and reliability calculation methods.
Assessment methods and criteria: • tutorials, computation and graphic work, oral questioning (30%) • final control (control measure - exam): written form, oral questioning (70%)
