Learning outcomes: • know the aspect of mechatronics practical application; the major difference between mechanical and mechatronical systems; • be able to apply knowledge of technical characteristics, structural features, purpose and rules of operation equipment and to solve technical problems; identify, classify and describe the work systems;. • have an understanding of the basic device mechatronics - a useful combination of mechanical, electrical, electronic and information properties.

Summary of the subject: Analogue, binary and digital control. Regulation. Control. Elements relay-contactor control electrical schemes. Sequential control systems. Elements of electronic control systems. Pneumatics features. The structure of the pneumatic installation. Pneumohydraulic drives. Hydraulic control. Raman control systems. Analog sensors. Digital sensors. Fundamentals and methods of regulation. Control and regulation system. Numerical control machinery. Communication. Programming of NC. Robotics. Programming robots. Robotic control. Computer-oriented manufacturing. Quality management. Computer and telecommunication equipment.
Assessment methods and criteria: • written reports from workshops, oral examination (30%) • final control (70% test): written, oral form (70%)
