Learning outcomes: • knowledge of the modern technologies and features of CAD of electromechanical systems. • knowledge of fundamentals of the CAD system structure. • knowledge and understanding of design methodologies, regulatory documents, written standard and technical specifications. • ability to design of electromechanical systems and their components, considering all the aspects of a set problem, including the creation, installation, exploitation, maintenance and utilization.
Required prior and related subjects: • Fundamentals of Programming and Software for Engineering Calculations • Automatic Control Theory. • Theory of Electric Drive.
Summary of the subject: Features of electromechanical systems design. The main activities of design. Application CALS-technologies in design. Classification and CAD system structure. Components of CAD Systems. Simulation of Electromechanical Systems. Stochastic mathematical models of Electromechanical Systems, input and output parameters of models. Monte Carlo method. Optimization Methods of Solution Design.
Assessment methods and criteria: • written reports on laboratory works, oral questioning, test (40%) • final test (60%)
