Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the discipline, the student should be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: 1. Ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the scientific and mathematical principles necessary to solve engineering problems and perform research in the field of electrical power plant design; 2. Apply information and communication technologies and programming skills to solve typical project tasks; 3. Apply knowledge and understanding to solve the problems of synthesis and analysis of elements of the electrical part of power plants; 4. To apply a systematic approach, integrating knowledge from other disciplines and taking into account non-technical aspects, when solving engineering problems of designing the electrical part of power plants; 5. To evaluate the feasibility and possibility of applying new methods and technologies in the problems of synthesis of the electrical part of power plants; 6. To argue the choice of methods for solving the specialized design problem of designing the electrical part of power plants, critically evaluate the results obtained and defend the decisions made. The study of the discipline provides for the formation and development of students' competencies: common: • ability to analyze and synthesize the electrical part of power plants (ZK4); • the ability to put knowledge into practice to design the electrical part of power plants (GC5); • the ability to search and analyze information from various sources for the design of the electrical part of power plants (GC6); • have research skills in the design of individual elements of the electrical part of power plants (LC7); • ability to solve tasks and make appropriate decisions for the design of the electrical part of power plants (ZK9); • ability to communicate effectively at the professional and social levels when designing the electrical part of power plants (LC13); • creativity, ability to think systematically when solving the problems of designing the electrical part of power plants (ZK14); • the potential for further learning of the latest design methods for the electrical part of power plants (ZK15); • responsibility for the quality of the work performed on the design of the electrical part of the power plants (LC16); professional: • basic knowledge of basic legal acts and reference materials, current standards and specifications, instructions and other regulatory documents in the field of designing the electrical part of power plants (FC2); • knowledge of computer engineering and programming, computer skills to solve the problems of designing the electrical part of power plants (FC4); • knowledge of the basics of occupational safety, industrial sanitation and fire safety when working with the equipment of the electrical part of power plants (FC5); • the ability to use and implement new technologies, to participate in the modernization and reconstruction of equipment, devices, systems and complexes of the electrical part of power plants, in particular in order to improve their energy efficiency (FC8); • the ability to apply professional-profiled knowledge and practical skills to solve the typical tasks of designing the electrical part of power plants (FC10); • ability to use knowledge and ability to calculate, research, select, implement, repair and design the electrical part of power plants (FC11) • ability to design the electrical part of power plants and its elements, taking into account all aspects of the task, including creation, commissioning, operation, maintenance and utilization (FCC3); • the ability to argue the choice of methods for solving specialized problems in the design of the electrical part of power plants, critically evaluate the results obtained and defend the decisions made (FCC4). The results of study of this discipline detail the following program results of training: 1. ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the basics of designing the electrical part of power plants (CH3); 2. the ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of design methodologies for the electrical part of power plants, relevant regulatory documents, applicable standards and specifications (CH5); 3. apply knowledge of the technical characteristics, structural features, purpose and rules of operation of the equipment of the electrical part of power plants to solve the technical problems of its design (UM4); 4. calculate, design, design, research, operate, repair, adjust standard equipment of the electrical part of power plants (UM5); 5. combine theory and practice, as well as make decisions and develop an activity strategy to solve the problems of designing the electrical part of power plants taking into account human values, public, state and production interests (UM9); 6. evaluate the results obtained and reasonably defend the decisions made on the design of the electrical part of power plants (UM11); 7. the ability to responsibly undertake the work of designing the electrical part of power plants and to achieve this goal in accordance with the requirements of professional ethics (AI3).
