Завдання: Studying an academic discipline involves formation
competencies:
• general competencies:
1) the ability to learn;
2) the ability to communicate orally and in writing in the Ukrainian language;
3) ability to apply knowledge in practical situations;
4) ability to make informed decisions;
• professional competences:
1) basic knowledge of scientific concepts, theories and methods necessary for understanding the principles of functioning of public and municipal management and administration;
2) the ability to argue the choice of methods for solving specialized problems, critically evaluate the obtained results and justify the decisions made;
3) the ability to apply professional knowledge and practical skills to solve typical problems of the specialty and justify the choice of methods for solving them, critically evaluate the obtained results and defend the decisions made.
Learning outcomes: 1. Calculate the determinants of the 2nd, 3rd and higher orders,
perform operation on matrices.
2. Solve systems of linear algebraic equations.
3. Decompose vectors by basis,
calculate the scalar product of vectors.
4. Construct the equations of lines and curves
of the second order on the plane and lines and planes in
space.
5. Find derivative of functions of one variable and
conduct a complete study of the function.
6. Find integrals using different methods of integration.
Use defined integral to the calculation of areas and volumes
of figures.

Summary of the subject: The discipline "Mathematics in Public Administration, Part 1" consists of sections "Linear Algebra and Analytical Geometry" and "Mathematical Analysis".
Опис: The educational discipline "Mathematics in public administration, part 1" consists of the sections "Linear algebra and analytical geometry" and "Mathematical analysis".
The following topics are considered in the section "Linear algebra and analytic geometry":
"Matrixes, determinants and systems of linear equations", "Elements of vector algebra", "Basic problems of analytical geometry on the plane and in space".
The section "Mathematical analysis" consists of the following topics: "Functions of one variable", "Functions of many variables", "Indefinite integral", "Double integral".
Assessment methods and criteria: Diagnosis of students' knowledge is carried out
with the help of questioning in practical classes,
tests and individual work.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: The study discipline ends with a semester control, the form of which is provided by the curriculum with a semester assessment.
The semester grade consists of the sum of points provided for current control and examination control.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems;
87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks;
70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems;
49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems;
25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
