Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of the training course "Fundamentals of finance, money and credit" is the formation of a system of basic knowledge on the theory of finance, money, credit, assimilation of the laws of the functioning of money and financial markets as the theoretical basis of the state monetary, currency, tax and budget policy for the development of banking and the market of financial services ; formation of special knowledge and practical skills on the organization of financial relations and their functioning at the macro and macro levels
Завдання: As a result of studying the academic discipline, the student should be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: - knowledge about the essence and functions of such categories as "finances", "money", "credit", - understanding the content of the main theories of money, the concept of money circulation, money flows, monetary and financial markets, money and currency systems, - providing the basics of credit, settlement, currency, tax and budget relations; - to form a theoretical basis for further mastering the practice of using monetary and financial instruments in business and in the regulatory system; - to form practical principles of functioning of the monetary system; - basics of building the banking system and bank operations; - to understand the patterns of development and functioning of the foreign exchange market.
Learning outcomes: Following the completion of the module the student should: 1. Apply knowledge and understanding to solve problems of synthesis and analysis in the systems that are characteristic of the chosen specialty; 2. Systematic thinking and apply creativity to the formation of innovative ideas; 3. Knowledge and understanding of scientific and mathematical principles underlying the state and economic analysis; 4. In-depth knowledge in one of the areas of public managing and administration - administrative management in public organizations, administrative management in international business.

Summary of the subject: The essence and function of money. Theories of money. Quantity theory of money. Money circulation and money supply, which it serves. Money market. Money systems. Inflation and monetary reform. The need and nature of the loan. Types, functions and role of credit. The central banks. Commercial banks. Financial intermediaries of money market. Currency market and currency systems.

Mass of money in circulation. Lecture 4. Money market. Demand for money and supply of money. Equilibrium in the money market. Lecture 5. The essence of the monetary system. Lecture 6. The essence of finance, its function and role. Lecture 7. Concept of inflation and monetary reform. Lecture 8. Financial system. Lecture 9. The essence of credit, its importance for the economy. Concept of credit system, its components. Lecture 10. The concept of currency relations. Currency system. Lecture 11. The essence and tools of the stock market.
Assessment methods and criteria: current control (60%); control work (40%).
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Current monitoring of practical, seminar classes is carried out in order to identify the readiness of graduate students for classes in the following forms: • a selective oral survey before the start of classes; • frontal standardized survey by cards, tests within 5-10 minutes; • frontal verification of homework; • evaluation of the graduate student's activity in the course of classes, submitted proposals, original decisions, clarifications and definitions, additions to previous answers, etc.; • written (up to 45 minutes) test. Control questions are divided into: • a) test tasks – choose the correct answers; • b) problematic – creation of problematic situations; • c) questions-replies - to identify cause-and-effect relationships; • d) situational tasks – to determine the answer according to a certain situation; • e) issues of a reproductive nature - determination of practical significance (for example, studied chemical phenomena); • e) interactive quiz and game tasks.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49–26 points – (“not certified” with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is given for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
