Мета вивчення дисципліни: Formation of a system of theoretical knowledge and skills on issues of design thinking in public administration, analysis of the impact of various forms of planning and organization of people, infrastructure, communication and material components of the service in order to improve its quality and interaction between the service provider and its customers. Also, the formation of modern theoretical and practical knowledge, abilities and skills in the students regarding the application of design thinking in the process of managerial activity, in the process of formation and development of Ukrainian statehood. Deepening of students' knowledge about practical methods of managing the organization's creativity and own creativity, formation of competencies in understanding the theoretical foundations of design thinking, the ability to apply them in the process of generating and developing an innovative product.
Завдання: The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of competencies in students of education: general competences: - the ability to learn and master modern knowledge; - the ability to realize one's rights and responsibilities as a member of society, to realize the values ??of a civil (free democratic) society and the need for its sustainable development, the rule of law, the rights and freedoms of a person and a citizen in Ukraine; - the ability to preserve and multiply moral and cultural scientific values ??and achievements of society based on an understanding of the history and patterns of development of the subject area; - the ability to be critical and self-critical; - ability to adapt and act in a new situation; - ability to work in a team; - ability to plan and manage time; - the ability to identify, pose and solve problems; - the ability to search, process and analyze information from various sources; - the ability to communicate in the state language both orally and in writing; - the ability to communicate in a foreign language; - the ability to communicate based on the goals of communication and the specific situation. professional competences: - the ability to ensure the appropriate level of production and use of management products, services or processes; - the ability to develop tactical and operational plans of management activities; - the ability to conduct research and search activities in the field of public management and administration; - the ability to take into account inflationary processes, understanding the essence of the main macroeconomic indicators and financial, banking and insurance relations.
Learning outcomes: The ability to identify the important interests of a person and a citizen, society and the state, which ensures the sustainable development of society, timely identification, prevention and neutralization of real and potential threats to national interests in the areas of law enforcement, anti-corruption, border operations and defense, migration policy, health care self, education and science, science, technology and innovation policy, cultural development of the population, ensuring freedom of speech and information security, social policy and pension provision, housing and communal services, the market of financial services, protection of property rights, stock markets and the circulation of valuable papers, tax-budgetary and customs policy, trade and entrepreneurial activity, banking services market, investment policy, audit activity, monetary and currency policy, information protection, licensing, industry and agriculture, transport and communication, information technology, e energy and energy conservation, the functioning of natural monopolies, the use of subsoil, land and water resources, minerals, protection of ecology and the natural environment, and other areas of public administration in the event of the emergence of negative trends to create potential or real threats to national interests.
Required prior and related subjects: Previous educational disciplines: "Stress Management", "State and society development strategies in the process of European integration", "Development of price policy". Accompanying and subsequent training disciplines: "Territorial development planning", "Public service and personnel management", "Market analysis and crisis management".
Summary of the subject: The educational discipline "Design-thinking in public administration" is taught to students in order to study the main features of the emergence, development and transformation of thinking in public administration, the formation of problems and trends in its development. One of the key worldview principles of design thinking and an important characteristic of the modern attitude to the development of anything for anyone is the ability to empathize. The main tasks of the training course are to study the essence of the design thinking subject, its specific importance in public administration; stages of design thinking; design thinking methods; use of design thinking methodology; the matrix of the known and realized; tree of problems in design thinking; emotional intelligence in design thinking; assessment of the level of emotional intelligence in design thinking of public administration; ways to increase the level of emotional intelligence in public administration using design thinking.

Assessment methods and criteria: Assessment of students' knowledge in the discipline "Design-thinking in public administration" is carried out in accordance with the work curriculum in the form of a semester control (credit), which involves the student's work throughout the academic semester and is presented according to its results at the end of the academic semester
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: The current control of students' knowledge in the discipline "Design-thinking in public administration" is carried out in the following forms: a) during laboratory classes (for students of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration): - survey of students on theoretical material; - assessment of the performance of laboratory tasks during class; - evaluation of students' activity during the discussion of discussion questions; - assessment of knowledge during the defense of laboratory work. b) based on the results of self-study tasks (control work for students of DFN/ZFN): - assessment of performance of control work; - protection of control work during classes. The maximum mark for the test work is 10 points and is assigned according to the following criteria: - for the proposed correct algorithm for solving an individual task - 1 point; - for knowledge of the theory of the problem posed in the individual task - 3 points; - 0.5 points for neat design of text, tables, formulas, schemes and graphs; - for completeness and use of modern concepts and sources of information (in addition to the lecture notes, there should be two or three sources of information) - 1.5 points; - for completing the work in accordance with the requirements and having references to sources of information - 1 point; - for the presence of meaningful conclusions to the completed work - 2 points; - for correct answers to all the teacher's questions both regarding the essence of the task and its technical implementation - 1 point. When evaluating the test work, the number of points assigned to the student may be reduced: - for untimely execution - 1 point; - for inconsistency of the topic - 3 points; - for insufficient disclosure of the topic - 1 point; - for improper registration - 3 points; - for lack of links to sources of information - 1 point; - for the use of outdated literary sources, as well as the absence of English-language sources - by 1 point. When evaluating oral answers during classes, the number of points assigned to the student may be reduced: - for an incomplete answer - 0.5 points; - for the inaccuracy of the answer - 1.5 points; - for insufficient disclosure of the topic - 1 point.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: The results of the current control of students' knowledge (the number of points obtained) must be brought to the attention of all students by the teacher at the end of each class and entered in the "Journal of students' current performance and class attendance". The total number of points for the current knowledge control is calculated by adding the points obtained from the results of the knowledge assessment during each of the classes and the performance of homework and/or individual tasks. Credit work in the discipline "Design-thinking in public administration" is carried out during the term determined by the educational schedule for taking credits/exams in the form of writing credit work.
