Мета вивчення дисципліни: Knowledge of the fundamental principles of the functioning and development of the national economy as a whole on the basis of familiarization with the main macroeconomic theories, concepts and models substantiated by modern economic science.

Summary of the subject: The discipline forms a system of knowledge about the functioning mechanisms of the national economy on the basis of modern macroeconomic theories, substantiated by world and domestic science, and the experience of macroeconomic practice. Provides study of the theory of macroeconomic science, disclosure of its object, subject and method, coverage of the main macroeconomic indicators and indicators of macroeconomic development; basic equilibrium models; disclosure of the mechanism of macroeconomic policy components: fiscal, monetary, foreign economic, social.
Опис: -Macroeconomic indicators of economic activity in the system of national accounts, macroeconomic instability, consumption, savings and investments; -Macroeconomic Analysis: aggregate demand and aggregate, macroeconomic equilibrium, the total expenditure and economic equilibrium, macroeconomic model IS-LM; -Fiscal policy, budget deficits and public debt, financial markets, money and banking, the mechanism of monetary policy, the international aspects of the national economy, the mechanism of foreign economic policy, problems of economic development of the modern world.
Assessment methods and criteria: Total control (100%): verbal component (40%), exam (60%) Forms and means of border and final control: - testing of knowledge on the topics of the lecture course; - oral survey; - presentations at practical classes (abstracts, reports, discussions); - solving situational tasks, problems; - writing current control papers; - final control (exam).

Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems;87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems;49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
