Learning outcomes: Ability to demonstrate knowledge of the main components in the development of marketing product, pricing, sales and communication policies of the enterprise, taking into account the maximum satisfaction of consumer needs and existing risks. Ability to demonstrate knowledge of the characteristics of different types of goods and services, market types and their impact on the marketing activities of the organization. Demonstrate the ability to apply an interdisciplinary approach and perform marketing functions of a market entity. Perform functional responsibilities in the group, offer sound marketing solutions. Apply the acquired theoretical knowledge to solve practical problems in the field of marketing. Use the general principles and patterns of integrated logistics flow management, develop proposals for the formation and improvement of logistics systems, assess the cost-effectiveness of interaction with suppliers based on the SRM-system. Communicating information, ideas, problems, solutions and personal experience in the field of professional activity to specialists and non-specialists. Summary of the subject: Theoretical foundations of commodity science. Methodology of commodity science. Classification and range of goods. Theoretical foundations of needs and consumption. Basics of rational consumption of food and non-food products. Coding of goods. Quality of goods, its research and evaluation Standardization of goods Information about Rules for food labeling in Ukraine. Identification and falsification of goods Fundamentals of goods examination. Basics of packaging and storage of goods.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control (100): performance and protection of laboratory works (60%); execution and protection of practical work (20%); control testing (20%).
