Learning outcomes: Know the basic properties of electrolyte solutions; Know the basic types of electrodes and battery cells; Know the laws of chemical kinetics; Know the basic theory of chemical kinetics and catalysis; Be able to calculate the main characteristics of the electrolyte solution and electrode processes; Be able to calculate kinetic parameters of chemical processes.

Summary of the subject: Electrochemistry (solutions of electrolytes, electrode processes and battery cells). Chemical kinetics (formal kinetic and theory of chemical kinetics). Catalysis (homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis)
Assessment methods and criteria: written reports on laboratory work, oral examination, design work (40%) final control (control measure, test), written-oral form (60%)
