Мета вивчення дисципліни: Ensuring that students acquire knowledge, understanding and competencies regarding the design of chemical-technological enterprises, the principles of creating chemical-technological systems, the calculation of material and heat balances; exergy analysis of chemical and technological systems, system analysis in the technology of organic substances.
Завдання: • Knowledge and understanding of the subject area and understanding of professional activity. • Ability to communicate in the national language both orally and in writing. • Ability to use computing and information technology to solve complex problems and practical problems in the field of chemical engineering. • The ability to use professional knowledge and practical skills to solve specific tasks in the field of basic and fine synthesis technologies of organic substances.
Learning outcomes: Carry out qualitative and quantitative analysis of substances of inorganic and organic origin, using appropriate methods of general and inorganic, organic, analytical, physical and colloidal chemistry. To use modern computing equipment, specialized software and information technologies to solve complex tasks and practical problems in the field of chemical engineering, in particular, for calculations of equipment and processes of chemical production.

Summary of the subject: The main concepts of technological design, the sequence of creation and development of project documentation are considered, the classification of chemical-technological systems is given and the peculiarities of organic synthesis technology are considered, the purpose of calculating the material and heat balance is given and the principles and sequence of their calculation are outlined, the criteria for the optimization of chemical-technological systems are considered. As a result of studying this discipline, the student acquires the knowledge, abilities, skills and competences necessary for organizing the activities of organic synthesis enterprises and solving practical tasks to ensure the quality of target products of organic synthesis. Use modern computing equipment, specialized software and information technologies to solve complex problems tasks and practical problems in the field of chemical engineering, in particular, for calculations of equipment and processes of chemical production.
Опис: Basics of technological design. Production rules. Chemical-engineering systems. The types of process connections. Material balance of chemical processes. Thermal balance of chemical processes. Criteria for optimization of technological systems.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control in the form of written and oral control and calculation and graphic work, semester control in the form of an exam
