Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of industrial practice is: to consolidate, deepen and expand the knowledge obtained during the study of general engineering disciplines, familiarization with the typical technological processes of this industry, the structure and operation of the main equipment, the collection or preparation of materials for the implementation of a course project or work.
Завдання: Production practice can take place at industrial enterprises and enterprises of the non-production sphere. Tasks of practice at industrial enterprises: familiarization with the structure of production on the example of a specific enterprise, study of a specific technological process, in particular the following issues: technological scheme, requirements for the main raw materials and finished products; main and auxiliary equipment, basic rules of equipment operation and safety techniques, production waste and ways of their disposal. The task of industrial practice in scientific research, design organizations or other institutions of the non-production sphere can be the clarification of scientific or technological problems that arise in the process of their functioning, familiarization with the existing methods of solving these issues, the study of regulatory documentation for the performance of scientific works, mastering modern methods of experimental research etc.
Learning outcomes: In accordance with the requirements of the OPP in the specialty 161 Chemical technologies and engineering and the qualification characteristics of a specialist, as a result of the internship, students are expected to develop and develop the following competencies: General (ZK): ZK02. Ability to apply knowledge in practical situations. ZK03. Knowledge and understanding of the subject area and understanding of professional activity. As a result of the internship, the student must be able to demonstrate the following program results (PR) of study: PR10. To discuss the results of professional activity with specialists and non-specialists, to argue one's own position. Communication (COM) KOM1. Conveying information, ideas, problems, solutions, own experience and arguments to specialists and non-specialists. KOM2. Collection, interpretation and application of data.

Summary of the subject: The content of the educational module: The structure of the main and auxiliary units of the enterprise (organization). Types and characteristics of raw materials, auxiliary materials and products manufacturing (areas of work). Theoretical basis of the process. The process of production. The structure, working principle, conditions and modes of operation of main and auxiliary equipment. Control systems and standardization of products.
Опис: Students of the University carry out practice on practice bases. According to clause 3 of the Regulation on the organization of internships for students of the Lviv Polytechnic National University [3], the list of internship bases is formed by departments based on the results of an analysis of the possibilities of enterprises, organizations, and institutions regarding their suitability for internships. When choosing practice bases for students studying under the OPP, the possibility of their further employment must be taken into account. The bases of practice for students studying under the OPP are usually selected enterprises, organizations, institutions (collectively POUs) that have long-term scientific and practical ties with the relevant departments of the university, confirmed by executed cooperation agreements, as well as POUs that have subdivisions that conduct scientific research or perform design and construction works corresponding to the specialties (specializations) for which specialists are trained at the department.

Мета вивчення дисципліни: systematization and consolidation of students' knowledge of the professional disciplines "Technology and equipment for the production of ceramics", "Technology and equipment for the production of glass", "Technology and equipment for the production of binders", familiarization with the theoretical principles and practical skills necessary for the organization of general engineering and technological works in the field of silicate production, studying the principles of operation of existing types of various technological equipment; familiarization with technological schemes for obtaining silicate materials of various functional purposes in the conditions of current production.
Завдання: 1. Integral competences: the ability to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems of chemical technologies and engineering during professional activity or in the learning process, which involves the application of certain theories and methods of chemistry, chemical technologies and engineering and are characterized by the complexity and uncertainty of conditions. 2. Summary of the subject: Practice is an integral component of educational and professional programs (OPP) of training specialists of all educational levels. It is an important and mandatory link of the educational process and allows to consolidate the knowledge and skills in specialty 161 "Chemical technologies and engineering" acquired during the study of theoretical courses, to ensure the acquisition of professional competences by students and the possibility of their employment on the Ukrainian and international labor markets.

Assessment methods and criteria: Defense of the report on industrial practice before the commission appointed by the head of the department during the first two weeks of training classes after the end of the practice. The commission consists of 3 persons: practice leaders from the university and, if possible, from the practice base, as well as teachers of professional training disciplines.

Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of the production practice is to get acquainted with production by profession, the structure of enterprises and organizations and the structure of their subdivisions, practical study of various technologies for the production of food additives, food products, and cosmetics.
Завдання: During practice, students must improve and consolidate the theoretical knowledge obtained in the process of studying special disciplines, as well as connect them with the real needs of a specific industry.
Learning outcomes: Familiarization with: - the structure and organization of manufacturing process; - the storage of raw materials, auxiliary materials, and manufactured products; - the technological process; - the organization of technological process control; - the control of quality of raw materials and manufactured products in food processing and cosmetics companies as well as plants.
Required prior and related subjects: Prerequisite courses required : • chemistry, technology and utilization of food additives • processes and apparatuses of chemical industries • technology of food production • chemistry and technology of cosmetic products.
Summary of the subject: During the field trip, the students will familiarize with the contemporary organization forms and working tools in the branch of their future job.
Опис: Industrial practice is held in the 7th semester and lasts 2 weeks. It is conducted with the aim of getting to know production, the structure of factories and organizations by profession, practical study of various technological processes and quality control methods.
Assessment methods and criteria: Written report on practice, presentation, oral defense.

It is an important and mandatory part of training a highly qualified specialist for future work, ensuring his competitiveness and the possibility of employment on the domestic and European labor markets. Industrial practice of students is carried out separately from theoretical training at practical bases (enterprises, organizations, institutions), the scientific and technical equipment of which is capable of meeting modern requirements for the training of specialists of the appropriate educational and qualification level, as well as the conditions for their further professional growth and career. The duration of the practice, the terms of its implementation, and its scope are determined by the individual study plan of the student and the schedule of the educational process. The amount of practice is measured in credits (that is, the practice must be organized and its results documented so that it can be evaluated in credits). Industrial practice involves improving the professional and practical training of students, the technology of providing them with a sufficient amount of practical knowledge, abilities and skills, in accordance with the requirements of educational and qualification characteristics, using the material and technical base of employers.

Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
