Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the academic discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following program learning outcomes: 1. Knowledge of the capabilities of modern software for automated design of chemical and technological equipment, methods of creating computer models of chemical technology devices, stages of 3D modeling of chemical equipment in Autodesk AutoCAD software. 2. Ability to design the created models according to the standards of the USCD.

Three-dimensional polylines. Interactive viewing of designed models. Workspace scaling commands. Views and view screens in Autodesk AutoCAD. Creation of wireframe models and surfaces in Autodesk AutoCAD. Commands for working with grids. Commands for working with complex surfaces in Autodesk AutoCAD. Methods of constructing surfaces of 3D objects. Solid models in Autodesk AutoCAD. Construction of standard three-dimensional bodies. Creating bodies by extruding and rotating two-dimensional objects.
