Learning outcomes: Integral Competence (INT): The ability to solve complex specialized problems and practical problems in the field of professional legal activity or in the learning process, which involves the application of legal doctrines, principles and legal institutions and is characterized by complexity and uncertainty. General Competences (LC): LC1. Ability to abstract thinking, analysis and synthesis. ЗК13. Ability to preserve and multiply moral, cultural, scientific values and achievements of society based on understanding the history and patterns of law, its place in the general system of knowledge about nature and society and in the development of society, technology. Special professional competencies (SC): SC2. Knowledge and understanding of the retrospective of the formation of legal and state institutions. SC3. Respect for human honor and dignity as the highest social value, understanding of their legal nature. SK12. Ability to analyze legal issues, form and justify legal positions. SK16. Ability to logical, critical and systematic analysis of documents, understanding their legal nature and meaning. As a result of studying the discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following program learning outcomes: PR2. Analyze social processes in the context of the analyzed problem and demonstrate your own vision of ways to solve it. PR3. Carry out collection and integrated analysis of materials from various sources. PR4. Formulate your own sound judgments based on an analysis of a known problem. PR8. Use a variety of information sources to fully and comprehensively establish certain circumstances. PR16. Explain the nature and content of basic legal phenomena and processes. PR28. Analyze the history of the formation of legal phenomena. As a result of studying the discipline, the student must be able to explain the nature of certain events and processes with an understanding of the professional and social context (COM4).
Required prior and related subjects: History of the state and law of foreign countries; History of the doctrines of state and law.
Summary of the subject: The course "History of State and Law of Ukraine" studies the evolution of Ukrainian state tradition, the development of the mechanism of state power in Ukraine, the origin and functioning of the legal system in general and individual branches of law in particular, and the origin and development of sociocultural elements society. Based on the laws of historical and cultural development studies the causes and consequences of the emergence and decline of state and legal systems, the functioning of the mechanism of state power, including central and local government, justice. In the history of Ukrainian law, due attention is paid to the formation of the national legal system, study and analysis of sources and main features of law, codification, formation of legal consciousness and legal culture of the Ukrainian people and their connection with the evolutionary development of Ukrainian society. The educational material is covered in accordance with the general principles of civilization in the development of mankind, taking into account the national state and legal tradition, which is characterized by humanism, democracy and social justice.
Assessment methods and criteria: Evaluation of student learning results is carried out in accordance with a 100-point score of assessment established at the university. The final assessment of the discipline consists of an assessment of the current control of learning outcomes during the semester and evaluation of learning outcomes during a control event during semester control – exam. The number of points allocated to the current control is 40 points. Examination control – 60 points. Maximum score in scores together for discipline – 100 points.
