Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the discipline, students should be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: - to analyse social processes in the context of the given problem and to demonstrate their own vision of ways to solve it; - to demonstrate the necessary knowledge and understanding of the nature and content of basic legal institutions and norms of fundamental branches of law; - to explain the nature and content of basic legal phenomena and processes; - to apply the acquired knowledge in different legal situations, to highlight legally significant facts and to form sound legal conclusions; - to know the mechanism of realization of human rights and freedoms; - to explain the nature of certain events and processes with an understanding of the professional and social context; - to master the ability to adapt to new situations and to make appropriate decisions; - to get the ability to act responsibly to the work performed, to make decisions independently, to achieve the goal in compliance with the requirements of professional ethics; - to achieve the ability to demonstrate understanding of current legislation.
Required prior and related subjects: Prior disciplines: administrative law. Related and subsequent academic disciplines: information law.
Summary of the subject: The course involves the acquisition of knowledge about the theoretical and legal and methodological principles of information security provision, the system of legal support of information security by public authorities, the nature and methods of combating threats to the state information security and ways to overcome them, international legal practice of the state information security and ways to improve the legal provision of information security of Ukraine in the context of European integration.
Assessment methods and criteria: Forms and means of control over the study of the discipline are: • oral questioning at seminars; • presentation at seminars (with a report, discussion, etc.); • written control work (answers to questions of the lecture course, solving practical problems, etc.); • performance of an individual research task; • group work in seminars; • test. Criteria for evaluating the learning outcomes of students: Practical (seminar) classes - 45 points Written control work - 10 points Individual research task (project, report, presentation) - 15 points Final test work - 30 points Total for the discipline - 100 points
