Learning outcomes: Analyze social processes in the context of the analyzed problem and to show knowledge and understanding of the fundamental modern legal doctrines, values, and principles of functioning of the national legal system. Demonstrate the necessary knowledge and experience of the nature and content of primary legal institutions and norms of fundamental branches of law. Apply the acquired knowledge in different legal situations, highlight legally significant facts and form sound legal conclusions.Explain the spirit and scope of basic legal phenomena and processes. Analyze and correctly apply the rules of substantive and procedural law. Demonstrate knowledge of legal norms that determine the organization and content of public authorities. Explain the nature of certain events and processes with an understanding of the professional and social context Ability to treat the work responsibly, to make decisions independently, to achieve the set goal in compliance with the requirements of professional ethics; Ability to demonstrate understanding of current legislation.

Summary of the subject: General provisions of banking law. Banking system of Ukraine. The concept of the banking system of Ukraine. Legal basis Legal status of the National Bank of Ukraine. The concept and essence of a commercial bank. Legal bases of creation of banks. Legal regulation of banking supervision in Ukraine. Legal regulation of banking secrecy. Legal regulation of a bank account. Legal regulation of credit relations. Legal regulation of money circulation in Ukraine Legal bases of payment system and settlements. Legal regulation of the securities market. General characteristics of national currency legislation. Legal bases of currency transactions. Basic principles of state financial control in Ukraine. Financial monitoring.
Assessment methods and criteria: Methods of diagnosing academic success, forms of measuring the level of knowledge acquisition in the discipline are: -oral questioning at seminars, -presentation at meetings with individual research task (presentation, report), -group work at seminars -written test (answers to lecture questions, solving practical problems, etc.). Criteria for evaluating student learning outcomes: Current control - 40 points Exam - 60 points In total for the discipline - 100 points.
