Summary of the subject: Promote the skills of critical analysis of the relevant legal framework, special monographs, investigative, judicial and human rights practice. Correctly and reasonably interpret the norms of criminal procedure legislation, their implementation in the practice of law enforcement agencies, courts, advocacy; draw up all procedural documents (petitions, statements, protocols, rulings, judgments and other procedural decisions). Writing a course project also accumulates skills for independent student work.
Assessment methods and criteria: Methods of authentic assessment are used as a permanent, communicative process between the student and the supervisor, from the moment of choosing the topic of the course work, drawing up a plan, writing sections, testing, conclusions, proposals - up to project defense. The process of determining the level of mastering by the student of the planned (expected) learning outcomes during the writing of the course project is formalized. Particular emphasis on the use of the case method (case - stage), is a method of subjective assessment, which requires the student while working on a course project, analysis of complex problem situations (using plots of real procedural legal situations) and developing possible options for their development. knitting. According to the "Regulations on rating of student achievement", the quality of the course project (work) is assessed by the following criteria: compliance of the content of the course project (work) with the task and requirements of educational and methodological recommendations for its implementation; independence of solving the task, design solution, execution of calculations, graphs and tables; the presence of elements of research; use of computer technology; registration of the explanatory note, graphic materials. The work, which reveals the topic, summarizes some literature sources, analyzes some information and statistical databases, formulates conclusions without the necessary justification, is allowed to be defended, but can not be rated higher than "satisfactory" (70 - 50 points). The work, in which the own assessment of the used legislative platforms, literature sources, independently analyzed the selected material, statistics of law enforcement agencies, courts, bar, conducted comprehensive research, conclusions and formulated proposals, but they are not sufficiently substantiated, can be evaluated good »(87 - 71 points). The work, which uses modern, innovative research methods, made an author's assessment of the provisions of the relevant legal framework, monographic sources, other special literature (including some foreign countries - for comparison), statistical platforms, investigative, judicial, human rights practice, conducted comprehensive scientific surveys, calculations and on their basis - the author's conclusions are substantiated and the proposals are substantiated, can be evaluated as "excellent" (100 - 88 points).

Summary of the subject: Concepts, tasks, meanings and sources of criminal proceedings; principles of criminal proceedings; court, parties and other participants in criminal proceedings; evidence and proofs in criminal proceedings; procedural terms and costs; security measures criminal proceedings; precautionary measures in the system of measures of procedural coercion, general provisions of pre-trial investigation; conducting investigative (search) actions; covert investigative (search) actions: concepts and types; suspension and termination of the pre-trial investigation; general provisions of court proceedings; court proceedings in the first instance; proceedings in the court of appeal; court review proceedings; features of criminal proceedings of certain categories of cases. International cooperation of law enforcement agencies (on the example of the prosecutor's office) during criminal proceedings.
Assessment methods and criteria: Methods of monitoring the success of training through the measurement of the level of knowledge acquisition in the discipline are: - oral examination at seminars (practical) classes; - presentation at practical (seminar) classes (with an abstract, report, discussion, etc.); - solving test tasks (including in the ANS) on the relevant topic; - written test (theoretical questions, solving practical problems (cases), test tasks); - performance and defense of an individual written task. Methods of knowledge diagnostics, which indirectly assess the level of achievement of the planned cognitive results in the discipline "Criminal Procedure", endowed with transparent assessment criteria, provide objective current and final control. Current control (PC) - 40 points: practical (seminar) classes, work in VNS, control work - 24 points; educational and research tasks, abstracts, reports, draft decisions, scientific publications, participation in business or simulation games, conferences, competitions, etc. - 16 points. Semester (final) control (60 points) - exam: test tasks of different levels of difficulty, incidental tasks (tasks), theoretical questions (normative, problem, discussion direction). Written (50 points) and oral (10 points) components.
