Learning outcomes: Integrated Competence (INT): the ability to solve complicated specialized tasks and practical problems in the field of professional legal activity or in the learning process, which involves the application of legal doctrines, principles and legal institutions and is characterized by complexity and uncertainty. General Competences (GC): GC.2. Ability to apply knowledge in practical situations. GC.4. Ability to communicate in the state language both orally and in writing. Special Competences (SC): SC1. Ability to apply knowledge of the basics of theory and philosophy of law, knowledge and understanding of the structure of the legal profession and its role in society. SС12. Ability to analyze legal issues, form and justify legal positions. Program learning outcomes (PO): PO1.Determine the persuasiveness of arguments in the process of assessing previously unknown conditions and circumstances. PO4. Formulate their own sound judgments based on an analysis of a certain problem. PO5. Give a brief conclusion on certain factual circumstances (data) with sufficient justification. PO6. Evaluate the disadvantages and advantages of arguments by analyzing a certain problem. Communication (COM): COM1. To communicate fluently in state and foreign languages both orally and in writing, correctly using legal terminology. COM2. Have basic rhetorical skills. COM3. To convey to the respondent material on certain issues is accessible and clear. COM4. Explain the nature of certain events and processes with an understanding of the professional and social context.

Summary of the subject: Judicial rhetoric is philosophy and law science of mental and speech activities aimed at persuasion, influence and achieve goals in the process of verbal communication. Mastery of judicial rhetoric makes the students ability and skills to analyze and produce texts of various types for the purpose of appointment and conditions of communication in their future work. Learning of skills of word possession, general knowledge, skills in public speaking, creative interpretation of existing arsenal of techniques and methods for the preparation for court speech is an essential element of liberal education in general and an important part of training lawyer. Judicial rhetoric as an area that covers all forms of moral demands, can internally grasp the profession, is able to develop a large pool of skills of a future lawyer and a logic of professional activities, ethics of thinking, etc.
Assessment methods and criteria: assessment of undergraduate learning outcomes is carried out in accordance with the 100-point rating scale established at the University. The final grade in the discipline consists of the assessment of the current control (CC) of learning outcomes during the semester and the assessment of learning outcomes during the semester control (SC) - credit. For the CC, undergraduates have the potential to earn a total of 40 points, and 60 points for the SC. The maximum total number of points for the discipline is 100.
