Learning outcomes: Integral competence (INT): the ability to solve practical problems in the process of learning and during professional activities in the field of law and to apply legal theories and methods based on current national legislation. General competencies (GC): GC 1. Basic knowledge of basic sciences to the extent necessary for the development of general professional disciplines; GC 2. Ability to learn, perceive knowledge in the subject area and integrate them with the existing ones; GC 5. Ability to work both individually and in a team; GC 6. Ability to produce new ideas, show creativity, ability to think systematically; GC 7. Ability to search and analyze information from various sources; GC 8. Acquiring a flexible way of thinking that allows you to understand and solve problems and tasks while maintaining a critical attitude to established scientific concepts; GC.15. Ability to show the potential for further learning. Professional competencies (PC): PC7. Ability to clarify cause-and-effect relationships, analyze and summarize information in the field of law. Communication (СОМ): СОМ 2. Ability to use a variety of pedagogical and psychological methods for effective communication at the professional and social levels. Autonomy and responsibility (AR): AR 1. the ability to adapt to new situations and make appropriate decisions; AR 3. the ability to take responsibility for the performed work, to make decisions independently, to achieve the goal in compliance with the requirements of professional ethics.

Summary of the subject: Definition of "gender"; History of the formation of the concept of "gender equality"; Stereotypes about men and women and their influence on the assertion of gender equality; Тhe importance of international organizations in promoting gender equality; The emergence and development of the idea of gender equality in Ukrainian legal thought; Gender equality in family relations; Domestic violence, forms of domestic violence.
Assessment methods and criteria: Methods of diagnostics of knowledge in the study of the discipline are: oral examination in practical (seminars); performance of an individual research task; control work. Assessment of student learning outcomes is based on the results of the PC in accordance with the 100-point assessment scale established at the University.
