Summary of the subject: Economic law - a discipline that orients students to an in-depth study of the legislation governing economic relations. The study of the discipline will allow students to form a complete and objective idea of: the concept, subject, method and system of business law; economic legislation; general provisions on business entities; legal status of enterprises; legal status of business associations; legal status of business associations; legal status of a citizen as a business entity; features of the legal status of other business entities; property basis of management; general provisions on economic obligations; business contracts; legal forms of participation of the state and local self-government in the regulation of economic activity; legal principles of protection of economic competition. Deep mastering by students of the basic provisions of this discipline is a necessary condition for the formation of qualified specialists.
Assessment methods and criteria: Assessment of students knowledge is carried out by summing the scores for the current control and control measure. These forms of control are closely interrelated and organized in such a way as to stimulate effective independent work of students during the semester and to ensure an objective assessment of their knowledge. According to the curriculum and depending on the total number of teaching hours of the discipline, the current control is allocated 40% of the total number of points, the control measure - 60% of the total number of points. Criteria for assessing the knowledge and skills of the student based on the results of studying the study material: 100-88 points – grade «excellent» is set for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material contained in the main and additional recommended literature sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied, in their relationship and development, clearly, concisely , logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical principles in solving practical problems; 87-80 points – the grade «very good» is given for knowledge of educational material above the average level, including calculations, reasoned answers to questions (a small number of inaccuracies is possible), the ability to apply theoretical principles in solving practical problems; 79-71 points – the grade «good» is given for the general correct understanding of the educational material, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions in solving practical problems; 70-61 points – assessment «indirectly» is given for mediocre knowledge of educational material, poorly reasoned answers, weak application of theoretical provisions in solving practical problems; 60-50 points – grade «satisfactory» is given for poor knowledge of the teaching material of the module, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for poor application of theoretical provisions in solving practical problems; 49-26 points – grade «unsatisfactory» with the possibility of re-taking the exam is given for ignorance of a significant part of the training material of the module, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical principles in solving practical problems; 25-00 points – grade «unsatisfactory» with mandatory re-study is given for ignorance of a significant part of the training material, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the basic fundamentals. Improving the objectivity of assessing students knowledge by conducting semester tests during the semester and using a 100-point scale to assess integrated knowledge of students with the mandatory translation of these grades into the state scale (with the state semester grade «excellent», «good», «good», «satisfactory «or» unsatisfactory»).
